Ravens Cheerleader Sent To Hospital After Scary Fall

One of the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders was hospitalized after cheering at the M and T Bank Stadium on Sunday! Unfortunately for her, she was thrown high into the air and then fell back down the ground with a great force after the people that were supposed to catch her, did not! The stunt went horribly wrong and the poor cheerleader felt herself fall instead of being caught with open arms by her team members. This is something that they do feel terrible about of course.

The 33-year-old calls "cancer" the scariest word she knows. Galvin was diagnosed with breast cancer just 6 months after losing her mother to the disease.

Rugby Player Turned Cheerleader

A former rugby player from Bristol has gone from running for the touch line to dancing on it as a member of Britain's national cheerleader squad. Toby Brewer, 19, played rugby for his local team up to the age of 14, but switched to cheerleading after discovering his love of performing at a school show.

Toby's passion took off when he joined his local cheerleading club in Bristol - the Predators. He has now gained a place in the UK's national cheerleading squad and is to take part in the Cheerleading World Championships in Florida.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Tryouts over Summer!

The highly anticipated Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have complete their initial round of the annual cheerleader tryouts this summer for the 2013 squad and, as usual the tryouts will be covered by the popular CMT show, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. This will be the 8th season of the show and will air on CMT in the fall. DCC have narrowed down their 2013 finalists to 54 cheerleaders who will attend the training camp, which lasts through the summer. Cheerleaders who attend the camp are not guaranteed a spot on the squad until the final selection on the official first game day.

Cheerleaders Visit Troops

Four Miami Dolphins cheerleaders and two former Dolphins players brought a taste of home to troops at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan. During a seven day trip to six bases, the cheerleaders got the opportunity to speak individually with some troops as well as some entertainment in the form of a dance routine to the song “Call Me Maybe”.
