Cayce Whitlock is a 2nd year Allstar for Cheer Channel from WinterHaven, FL. Cayce started cheerleading at age 6 for her school and with all star cheerleading at age 7. She has cheered for Polk County Galaxy (2002-2007), Orlando All Stars Diamondbacks Coed 5 (2007-2009), Angels Small All Girls 5 (2009-2013) and Cheer Express All Stars International Open Coed 5 (2013-2014).
Cayce loves spending time with family and friends, she enjoys traveling to their cabin in Tennessee as well as traveling to new places. Cayce loves to have fun! Cayce said some of the tricks she loves to do the most are round off backhandsrping double full, round off whip thru to full, round off whip punch full, standing backhandspring full, and cart wheel full. Her favorite cheer moment was winning Cheersport Nationals in 2013 and getting a full-paid bid to the Cheerleading Worlds with Orlando All Stars Angels. Cayce's toughest challenge was breaking her ankle in warm-ups day two of Cheerleading Worlds 2010 and still going out on the floor and performing. She threw all of her tumbling full out and her coaches didn't even know about the injury until days laster at their end of the year cheer banquet.
Cayce offers this advice to younger cheerleaders, Always follow your dreams and never give up! You can achieve anything through God!
Cayce defines a leader as someone who puts their team before themselves and find a way to encourage and promote positivity within the team no matter what adversities they are facing. Cayce is a leader on her team by always trying to keep a positive attitude and motivating and encouraging her teammates to always do their best. She is making a difference in her community by donating her formal wear to a local organization that provides dresses to the less fortunate in our area so they may attend prom, homecoming and other social and school events. She also donate my clothes and other items to our local Red Cross. In addition, Cayce has volunteered her time assisting local high school squads as well as city league cheer squads. In the Cayce likes to partner with students who are struggling in a class that she may be doing well in and offering to help them out. She likes to be a leader in the classroom by doing the right thing and staying focused and motivated in school.
Cayce looks up to and admires her mom and wants to grow up to be just like her. She says her mother is such a positive role model and is always encouraging her to do her best. Cayce believes her mom supports her 100% in everything she does and always believes in her. She also impassions Cayce to go after all of her hopes and dreams. She is so strong and has taught Cayce so much!
Some of Cayce's personal titles and awards include, 09-10, 10-11, 11-12 NCA All-American Cheerleader, 2010 and 2011 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Cheerleading Performer, Varsity Cheer Captain 11th and 12th grades, Best jumps at NCA Summer Camp 2011 and many more. Cayce has also competed at the Cheerleading Worlds seven years in a row and is a model for Fancy Face Cosmetics.
Team titles include Top 3 in NCA Dallas in 2009 and 2010, Top 10 at the Cheerleading Worlds 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, Awarded a full-paid bid and won 1st place at Cheersport Nationals 2013.
Cayce said very few people know that she was a flyer for 7 years before becoming a backspot.
In 10 years, Cayce sees herself as a success in the business world and coaching all star cheer.
